Instructions:

  1. Print pattern and trace onto butterfly cardstock. Cut slits where indicated. We recommend completing all the stamping first before assembling the box.
  2. With black onyx ink, stamp diamonds on the side panels of the box. Set aside.
  3. Stamp Halloween web with white ink on blackbird cardstock and heat emboss with white powder. Adhere to the bottom front of the box.
  4. Stamp "Rest in Peace" with black onyx ink on the left side of a piece of white cardstock measuring 0.75 x 5.25". Inking just the words from "Spooky-Spooky!" with black onyx ink, stamp to the right of the tombstone. A stamp positioner is very helpful in obtaining straight alignment. Mat with lime green cardstock. Add a touch of color to the dots with Glaze Pens. Color tombstone with Tombow markers and a bit of pewter Twinkling H2O's. Adhere stamped image to the front of the box overlapping the top of the stamped, black cardstock.
  5. Inking just the bats from "Spooky-Spooky!" with black ink, stamp the image above the matted sentiment. Let dry. Apply a thin coat of duo adhesive to the bats, let dry until clear and apply black flock. Tap flock into the tacky glue and lightly brush away excess with a soft brush.
  6. Cut a scallop square from lime green cardstock using the Nestabilities dies. Piece together sections of the frame to create a straight scalloped edge and adhere to the inside top of the box so a small portion of the scallop is revealed.
  7. Stamp "BOO" using the licorice alphabet and Versamark ink on a separate piece of black cardstock and heat emboss with lettuce embossing powder. Cut out the letters and apply dimensional foam to the backs. Apply lime stickles to the letters and set aside to dry.
  8. While assembling the sides of the box, tuck in decorative ribbon for a handle. Apply lime stickles to the scallop border and crystal stickles to the edges of the white cardstock containing the sentiment.
  9. Remove the protective backing from the dimensional foam on the back of the letters and position on the front of the box.
  10. Fill with Halloween candies or a small assortment of handmade note cards.

Finished size: 4.25 x 5.25"
