Instructions:

  1. Prepare the following:
Garland: 6 Red Circles (2.756 inches), 6 Green Circles (2.756 inches)
Top of Lid: 1 Green Circle (2.756 inches), 1 Red Scalloped Circle
Inside of Lid: 1 Green Circle (2.756 inches), 1 Red Scalloped Circle
Backside of First Garland Circle: 1 Green Scalloped Circle

  2. To prepare the Tin: Place a few drops of the silver alcohol mixative on a piece of felt. Pounce the ink on the bottom of the tin to cover the manufacturer's printing and over the small code on the side. This blends perfectly and allows you to recycle unique shaped tins.

  3. To Create the Accordion Garland: Stamp each day of Christmas with its corresponding wording on white cardstock with black ink. Nestle the images close together so they will fit inside a scalloped circle. After the image is stamped, turn the scallop punch upside down so the image can be viewed and maneuvered to fit the allotted space. Punch out image. Continue in this manner until all twelve days have been stamped and punched.

    Watercolor all images.

Starting with a red circle, adhere the ribbon across the top of the circle directly in the middle leaving a small tail to the left to create a knot for hanging. Glue the first day of Christmas image on top sandwiching the ribbon. Leave an eighth of an inch between the next circle image and alternate red and green circles.

There will be a small amount of ribbon left at the end to create a second knot for hanging. These knots can be tucked inside the tin or left hanging outside for an added decorative element.

With the markers, place red dots in the scallops of the white cardstock images that are mounted on red and green dots on the green matted scallops. Apply stickles as desired. Let dry.

  4. Top of the Tin: Tape a green circle to the top of the tin using Terrifically Tacky Tape.

Stamp sentiment with black ink and emboss with clear powder. Using a drafting circle template (or circle punch) center image in the circle (2.1654"), trace and cut out. Mount on a red scallop circle. Mount to green circle using dimensional foam tape. Apply crystal stickles to the perimeter of the white circle. Let dry.

Punch stars from yellow glitter paper and adhere.

  5. Inside Top of the Tin: Tape a green circle to the inside top of the tin using Terrifically Tacky Tape.

Ink just the words "merry" on the "So Merry" stamp with black ink and emboss with clear powder. Using a drafting circle template (or circle punch) center the image in the circle (1.75"), trace and cut out. Mount on a red scallop circle and add white dots with the gel pen.

Apply crystal stickles to the perimeter of the white circle. When dry, adhere the mounted image to the green matted positioned inside the lid.

  6. Assembly: Lay the "Twelfth" Day of Christmas inside the bottom of the tin face up. Continue to insert the other days by accordion folding them into place. The "First" day of Christmas will be facing down, leaving a blank red circle facing up.

Adhere a green scalloped circle to the blank red circle. Apply white dots with the gel pen. On a separate piece of white cardstock, stamp wreath and sentiment. Watercolor image and let dry. Using a drafting circle template (or a circle punch) center the image in the circle (1.75"), trace and cut out. Mount on green scalloped circle and apply crystal stickles to the perimeter of the white circle. Let dry.

Optional: Great to mix and match stamped artwork and photos.
